God's Right Hand
Cast thy burdens upon the LORD and He shall sustain thee, He shall never suffer the righteous to be moved.
Psalm 55:22David sang about it, the prophet Isaiah wrote about it and Paul confirmed it ... the righteousness of Gods right hand. You might look at yourself right now and think, "What am I able to do? I feel like a beat-up, run- down vehicle that just can't move anymore."
On the outside you might be battling to overcome the storms of life, but if you have a living God on your side, you have a powerful engine inside you called the Holy Spirit that can ignite every part of your life and make you the head and not the tail.
When you cannot go on, when you've done all in your power to overcome and just keep failing, Gods right hand is there to take over, if you just ask Him to.
David sang in Psalm 118, "The voice of rejoicing and salvation is in the tabernacles of the righteous: the right hand of the Lord doeth valiantly." Are you striving to draw closer to God? Do you desire to be more like Jesus? Do you live to see God glorified through you? Then in your tabernacle — your life — shall be the voice of rejoicing and salvation. Amen.
Isaiah writes, "Fear thou not, for I am with thee; be not dismayed; for I am thy God; I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee; yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness." Gods right hand is there to uplift you, to remove your fear and to give you rest.
And finally, Paul writes in 2 Corinthians 4, "We are troubled on every side, yet not distressed; we are perplexed but not in despair; persecuted, but not forsaken, cast down, but not destroyed." Trials will come, the storms of life might move us, but we have a Solid Rock who sits on the right hand of God the Father and maketh intercession for us.
Remember: Gods hand is not too short that it cannot touch you.
