Can anything good come out of Nazareth? Yes — one man. And that is all the world has ever needed — one good man to come out of Nazareth. He is called Wonderful, Counsellor, the Mighty God, the Prince of Peace, the Way, the Truth, the Resurrection and the Life, the Good Shepherd, the Saviour of the world. Jesus Christ; the Son of God who became the Son of man so that the sons of men could become the sons of God.

Today I ask you, Can anything good come out of a society thought to be the worlds poorest, or the most dangerous? Can anything good come out of Africa? Or America? Or Iceland? Can anything good come out of the rich nations, or the Arab states, the oil-rich countries? Can anything good come out of your neighbourhood? And the answer is simply, Yes — YOU.

When you are a child of God, you have the Resurrection living inside you. The Bible calls you more than a conqueror in Christ Jesus. Luke 12:32 says that "it is the Fathers good pleasure to give you the Kingdom." You have a Heavenly host waiting for YOU.

And if being a conqueror is not enough, He made you an overcomer as well. Revelation 12 says that you overcome the enemy by the blood of the Lamb and the word of your testimony. Do you not know that no weapon formed against you shall prosper? No matter how many fiery darts the enemy throws at you, you've overcome them through the power of God working in you through the powerful name of JESUS.

When you look in the mirror what do you see? Better yet, if you held an apple seed in your hand, what do you see? Do you see a huge apple tree bearing apples? Do you see the potential of each apple thereafter becoming another tree, and another tree? Before you know it, you have an orchard — a forest of apples growing in abundance. And it starts with one seed — YOU. So, my dear apple seed, can anything good come out of Nazareth?
