Pray Together
The members should have the same care one for another. And whether one member suffer, all the members suffer with it; or one member be honoured, all the members rejoice with it.
1 Corinthians 12:25 to 26A Boeing 747 is a beautiful plane, has marvellous seats, a good look, and it moves like a dream. It is able to take you around the world and able to accomplish much. That is what the Body of Christ is — when together the Body is dynamic and it accomplishes the will of God. But ... strip the Boeing 747. Take the engine and use it as a fan at home. Take the body apart and build a shack. Take the seats and place them in your home. Separate the Boeing and all you have are a lot of parts doing nothing effectual.
You see, when the Body is divided there is no power. The wheel is but a wheel ... until it gets connected to that Boeing. And when the wheel is in place, the Boeing can soar high. You are that wheel. And unless you get into that Boeing you are going to sit around for the street kids to push you around as a toy. You will never be able to accomplish much. But get connected, and you make the entire Body work together.
The same goes for prayer. Leviticus 26 says, "And ye shall chase your enemies, and they shall fall before you by the sword. And five of you shall chase an hundred, and an hundred of you shall put ten thousand to flight: and your enemies shall fall before you by the sword." Unity in prayer works a lot like compound interest. Its exponential. The more people that unite in prayer, the more dynamic the prayer gets and the more the enemy gets running.
How was an angel able to get Peter out of prison in Acts 12? The Bible says, "Peter was therefore kept in prison, BUT PRAYER WAS MADE WITHOUT CEASING OF THE CHURCH UNTO GOD FOR HIM." Households got together and prayed until Peter was set free, miraculously. My friend, get into a prayer network. Pray for one another; you will never know whose angel is waiting to set somebody free. Amen.
