Elisabeth was six months pregnant; miraculously conceived because of Gods plan for that appointed time. She was carrying the soon-to-be-born John the Baptist, the man who would pave the way for the Lord. Mary, on the other hand, had just received news that she was going to bring the Messiah into the world. Filled with the Holy Spirit and overshadowed by the power of God, she went to visit her cousin Elisabeth. What followed was phenomenal — the anointing of God overcame Elisabeth.

How much of Gods anointing do you want in your life? Hanging with the wrong crowd is definitely the wrong route if you want to see Gods anointing grow inside you. If you want to be filled with the Holy Ghost, if you want rivers of living water to flow from within your belly, then you need to hang around with the right crowd.

Listening to how Mr. Forrester made Mrs. Forrester No. 7 pregnant will not get you the anointing you need to do the will of God. Gossiping about how unfairly your manager treats you is not going to get you filled either. You need to be in the right place — among children of God who are there to encourage and exhort you and who are going to help you grow.

Theres a babe within you; a destiny and a future that is waiting to be birthed. The enemy wants to steal that babe from you; he wants you to abort the child and destroy your future. "I never got to accomplish my purpose in life," are the screams that come from the tombstones. Is that your cry at the moment?

Find a child of God that is going to make that babe in your womb leap for joy. Find that Mary in your life who is going to share your joy with you. And find a church that is going to make you overflow with the power of the Holy Spirit. Birds of a feather stick together. Are you an eagle hanging around with chickens?
